NOTICE OF INTENT TO CONSIDER ADOPTION OF A COUNTY ORDINANCE

Notice is given that the Liberty County Board of County Commissioners proposes to adopt the following ordinance:

ORDINANCE NO. 2024-1

AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING AND ENACTING A NEW CODE OF ORDINANCES FOR LIBERTY COUNTY, FLORIDA; PROVIDING FOR THE REPEAL OF CERTAIN ORDINANCES NOT INCLUDED THEREIN; PROVIDING FOR THE MANNER OF AMENDING SUCH CODE; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

A public hearing on the ordinance will be held on Thursday, September 5, 2024, at 6 p.m. (ET), or as soon thereafter as it can be considered, at the Liberty County Courthouse located at 10818 NW SR 20, Bristol, FL 32321.  The public is invited to attend the public hearing.  All interested parties may appear at the meeting and be heard with respect to the proposed ordinance.  Any person wishing to appeal any decision made by the Board of County Commissioners at this meeting will need a record of the proceedings.  For that purpose, such a person may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based. The ordinance may be inspected during normal business hours at the Liberty County Clerk’s office in the Liberty County Courthouse, which is located at 10818 NW SR 20, Bristol, Florida 32321.
