REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL – LEGAL SERVICES The Liberty County Board of County Commissioners will receive proposals until 4 p.m. E.S.T. on October 4, 2024 at the office of: Daniel R. Stanley, Liberty County Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller, P.O. Box 399/10818 NW SR 20; Bristol, Florida 32321. Please provide one original and five copies of this proposal. Liberty County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals, with or without cause, to waive technicalities, or to accept proposals which, in its sole judgment best serve the needs of the county. All proposals will be marked on the outside of a sealed envelope: RFP – LEGAL SERVICES Proposals will address the following legal services: 1) A monthly flat fee for the furnishing of legal services, advice, development of resolutions and ordinances, assistance in policy revision, attendance at meetings, and for legal correspondence for the Liberty County Board of County Commissioners for all non-litigation matters not to exceed $42,000.00 per year. 2) An hourly rate for legal services furnished to Liberty County Board of County Commissioners for all of its litigation matters not to exceed $150.00 per hour. Litigation matters are defined as all matters for which a formal complaint or action has been filed in a county, state, or federal court, or with any administrative agency. All proposals will include the following:
Packets will be prepared and the Liberty County Board of County Commissioners will review all proposals at an open special meeting on Thursday, October 10, 2024 at 4:00 p.m., E.S.T. in the Courtroom of the Liberty County Courthouse. All applicants will be interviewed by the Board that night. The Attorney will be selected and begin work the night of the regular Board meeting on Thursday, October 10, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. E.S.T. RFP – PROPERTY, CASUALTY AND WORKERS’ COMPENSATION INSURANCE The Liberty County Board of County Commissioners (County) is soliciting Proposals for property, casualty and workers’ compensation insurance coverage. Proposals may be submitted directly from government sponsored trust funds, self-insurance risk pools, and/or brokers/agents (Proposer). The scope of the coverage and services will encompass all aspects of County operations and requires extensive knowledge and experience across all lines of coverage.
SEALED PROPOSALS for RFP – Property, Casualty and Workers’ Compensation Insurance will be received by the BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF LIBERTY COUNTY, FLORIDA at the Clerk’s Office, 10818 NW SR 20; Bristol, Florida 32321 up until 4:00 PM EST Friday, August 2, 2024. Proposals will be publicly opened immediately following the deadline. It is the sole responsibility of the Proposer to ensure that the Proposal is received on time. Each Proposal shall be delivered to the Liberty County Clerk’s Office at 10818 NW SR 20; Bristol, Florida 32321 no later than the Proposal deadline. |
